Stake.Us Casino
Stake.us Review 2026: Stake Cash, Redemptions, Games & User Feedback
Stake.us is a U.S.-focused social and sweepstakes gaming platform operated by Sweepsteaks Limited. It uses two virtual currencies—Gold Coins and Stake Cash—and its current Terms and Conditions explicitly state that the platform does not offer conventional real-money gambling.
That distinction is especially important because Stake.us shares branding with Stake.com but is not simply “Stake.com for U.S. players.” The platforms use different operating entities, contractual terms, geographic rules and transaction models.
This review examines Stake.us specifically: how Gold Coins and Stake Cash work, current state restrictions, crypto support, prize redemptions, verification, Stake Originals, provably fair functionality, VIP benefits, mobile access and user reputation.

What Is Stake.us?
Stake.us is built around two forms of play.
Standard Play uses Gold Coins. Gold Coins are virtual social-game currency with no monetary value and cannot be redeemed for prizes.
Promotional Play uses Stake Cash. Stake Cash functions as a sweepstakes entry/promotional currency. Eligible Stake Cash can be used in Promotional Play, and qualifying resulting balances can be redeemed for prizes after applicable playthrough, eligibility and verification requirements are met.
Stake.us therefore differs from a conventional casino account where a user deposits dollars and wagers that cash balance directly. Buying Gold Coins should be described as a Gold Coin purchase, not automatically as a gambling deposit.
Stake.us also expressly states that no purchase or payment is necessary to participate in its sweepstakes model.
Stake.us vs Stake.com
| Feature | Stake.us | Stake.com |
| Contracting operator | Sweepsteaks Limited, Cyprus | Medium Rare N.V., Curaçao |
| Primary model | Social/sweepstakes gaming | Licensed conventional online gambling |
| Main currencies | Gold Coins and Stake Cash | Gambling account currencies including supported crypto |
| Gold Coin social mode | Yes | Not the Stake.us GC/SC model |
| Sweepstakes model | Yes | Not the Stake.us model |
| Cryptocurrency | Supported for qualifying Stake.us purchases/redemptions | Core gambling-payment functionality |
| U.S. participation | Subject to Stake.us eligibility and state exclusions | Must not be assumed to be a U.S. alternative |
| Sportsbook | Not independently confirmed active during this review | Sportsbook is part of Stake.com’s international product |
| Account terms | Stake.us Customer Account under Sweepsteaks Limited | Separate Stake.com account terms |
| Prize/withdrawal model | Eligible Stake Cash is redeemed for prizes | Conventional gambling-balance withdrawals |
| Gambling license | Stake.com’s Curaçao license does not authorize Stake.us | Stake.com identifies a Curaçao license |
Stake.com’s licensing information identifies Medium Rare N.V. and a Curaçao gambling license. That license should not be quoted as Stake.us’s license.
Readers assessing operator claims can also review our guide to casino licensing verification, particularly because similarly branded websites may operate under different entities and legal models.
Stake.us maintains its own Customer Account structure under Sweepsteaks Limited. We found no basis for assuming that balances, VIP status, policies or account rights automatically transfer between Stake.us and Stake.com.
How Stake.us Works
1. A user creates and verifies a Stake.us account in an eligible jurisdiction.
2. Gold Coins can be used for Standard Play.
3. Stake Cash can be used for Promotional Play.
4. Gold Coins can be obtained through free methods and optional packages.
5. Stake Cash cannot be purchased directly under the current Terms.
6. Promotional Stake Cash may accompany specially identified Gold Coin packages.
7. Stake Cash can also be obtained without buying a package through qualifying free promotional methods.
8. Applicable Stake Cash must satisfy the current playthrough requirements before prize redemption.
9. Prize redemption is subject to identity, location and account verification.
Registration currently requires personal information including legal name, date of birth, permanent residential address and email. Stake.us also reserves the right to confirm identity and address through supporting documentation.
VPNs, proxies and other tools that disguise location should not be used to bypass state eligibility because current Terms permit account restriction or suspension where location is concealed or manipulated.
Our Stake.us Rating
Editorial rating: 4.2/5
The score below uses eight equally weighted categories. Promotional value, affiliate revenue and commercial relationships are excluded from the methodology.

| User Reputation | 4.2/5 | 4.4/5 Trustpilot profile with more than 17,800 reviews, balanced by meaningful KYC, payment and redemption complaints |
| Platform Experience | 4.4/5 | Large catalog, live content, Poker, Stake Originals and strong mobile/browser coverage |
| Transparency | 3.8/5 | Detailed Terms and help documentation, but no clearly published universal redemption minimum and changing jurisdiction rules require caution |
| Game Selection | 4.6/5 | Current platform advertises 3,000+ games plus first-party Originals |
| Redemption Experience | 4.0/5 | Crypto and fiat options are documented, but processing depends on verification and no universal speed guarantee exists |
| Customer Support | 4.1/5 | 24/7 live chat and email are documented; individual user feedback remains mixed |
| Responsible Gaming | 4.1/5 | Break-in-Play, self-exclusion and closure mechanisms are documented |
| Sweepstakes Clarity | 4.2/5 | Terms clearly distinguish Gold Coins and Stake Cash, although the dual-currency model still requires careful explanation |
This rating reflects available evidence rather than a prediction of individual gaming, redemption or support outcomes.

Three Representative Stake.us User Reviews
What Reddit and Other Communities Say About Stake.us
Verified Information
Several topics appearing repeatedly on Reddit have corresponding official rules.
Stake Cash redemption can require identity verification. Cryptocurrency is currently supported for certain Stake.us Gold Coin purchases and eligible prize redemptions. Gold Coins themselves cannot be redeemed. VPN or proxy use can also create an account-compliance issue under the Terms.
The platform’s crypto rules are particularly important: users who enter the applicable currency mode through fiat generally redeem through fiat, while crypto purchases place the account into the corresponding crypto redemption route until the relevant Stake Cash balance is cleared.
User-Reported Experiences
Some Stake.us Reddit users report quick redemptions, while others describe longer reviews or ask which bank or crypto route performs best for them. Individual timing differs enough that “instant cashouts” would be misleading.
VIP discussions are similarly mixed. Some users describe responsive VIP hosts and useful bonuses, while others complain about reward value or slower host responses.
Payment threads occasionally describe processor problems, reversals or delayed Gold Coin crediting. At least one recent discussion described the money eventually returning after a failed transaction.
Reddit also contains posts claiming Stake.us games became “rigged” following a losing streak. Those posts generally do not provide statistical or technical evidence capable of establishing manipulation.
The Quora screenshots supplied for this review mostly concern Stake.com or generic Stake-branded gambling rather than Stake.us. They are therefore excluded from the factual analysis.
Gold Coins vs Stake Cash
| Feature | Gold Coins | Stake Cash |
| Primary purpose | Standard/social gameplay | Promotional/sweepstakes gameplay |
| Monetary value | None | Not a conventional cash balance |
| Purchased directly? | Gold Coin packages may be purchased | No |
| Can accompany a purchase? | Primary purchased item | Promotional SC may accompany specifically marked GC packages |
| Free availability | Yes | Yes, through qualifying promotional/free methods |
| Sweepstakes Play | No | Yes |
| Prize redemption | No | Eligible SC may be redeemed after applicable requirements |
| Playthrough | Not relevant to prize redemption | Applicable SC is subject to current playthrough rules |
| Postal AMOE | Not the main AMOE reward | Current compliant mail request provides 5 SC |
| State restrictions | Applies under platform eligibility | Promotional Play can carry additional eligibility implications |
Gold Coins are the simpler currency: they exist for social gameplay and cannot be exchanged for prizes.
Stake Cash is different. It is promotional sweepstakes currency rather than cryptocurrency or ordinary U.S. dollars. Current rules permit qualifying Stake Cash to be used in Promotional Play and, after meeting applicable conditions, redeemed for prizes.
Stake Cash should therefore not be described as something a user simply “deposits” or buys for $1 in the way they would fund a conventional casino balance.
Can You Get Stake Cash Without Making a Purchase?
Yes. No purchase is necessary under current Stake.us rules.
Current methods include:
- Daily promotional claims.
- Promotional giveaways and drops.
- Qualifying platform promotions.
- A postal Alternative Method of Entry.
The current postal method provides 5 free Stake Cash per compliant request. Requirements include a qualifying handwritten request card, a unique postcard code and mailing from the same state as the verified residential address.
The postal method should not be marketed as guaranteed free cash. Stake Cash remains promotional sweepstakes currency and is subject to the applicable rules, eligibility requirements and playthrough/redemption conditions.
Stake.us can modify promotions, so daily promotional amounts should be checked on the current account rather than treated as permanent.
Stake.us Games and Stake Originals
The current Stake.us casino lobby advertises more than 3,000 games and says new games are regularly added. Because this is a live company-published catalog count, it can change.
Current categories include:
- Slots.
- Live dealer games.
- Blackjack.
- Roulette.
- Baccarat.
- Table games.
- Poker.
- Casual/instant-style games.
- Stake Originals.
Current live titles include blackjack, Stake Roulette, baccarat and other dealer-hosted games.
Stake.us also lists third-party developers including Pragmatic Play, Evolution, Hacksaw Gaming, Nolimit City and Big Time Gaming, among others.

Stake Originals
Stake Originals are first-party games built around comparatively simple mathematical game formats.

Current examples include:
- Dice.
- Mines.
- Plinko.
- Crash.
- Limbo.
- Keno.
- Hilo.
- Wheel.
- Dragon Tower.
- Chicken.
- Moles.
- Diamonds.
- Slide.
Not every game associated with Stake.com should automatically be assumed to exist at Stake.us, so the current Stake.us lobby remains the authority for availability.
Stake Poker is also currently advertised for Stake.us, including Texas Hold’em and Omaha formats. It remains subject to the same Stake.us Gold Coin/Stake Cash framework and should not be described as conventional licensed U.S. real-money online poker.
How Provably Fair Games Work on Stake.us
Stake.us currently provides a provably fair system for qualifying Stake Originals.
The provably fair implementation uses several components:
Server seed.
Client seed.
Nonce.
Cursor where needed.
Cryptographic hashing/HMAC calculations.
Before play, the server-seed hash allows the underlying server seed to be committed without immediately revealing it. A client seed contributes another input, while the nonce changes as games progress. When seeds are rotated and revealed, supported results can be reproduced through the verification process.
Stake.us also provides a calculator for verifying recent Stake Original results.

A client seed contributes another input, while the nonce changes as games progress. When seeds are rotated and revealed, supported results can be reproduced through the verification process.
Stake.us also provides a calculator for verifying recent Stake Original results.
There are important limitations.
Provably fair technology does not:
- Eliminate a game’s mathematical house edge.
- Guarantee a player will win.
- Demonstrate that every third-party game uses the same system.
- Prove that every part of the platform is secure.
- Replace external regulation.
Stake.us Purchases and Payment Methods
Gold Coins are the item being purchased under Stake.us's current structure.
Current Terms allow supported payment media that can include:
Gold Coins are the item being purchased under Stake.us’s current structure.
Current Terms allow supported payment media that can include:
Payment cards.
Bank/financial accounts.
Online wallets.
Fiat payment methods.
Supported cryptocurrencies.
Stake.us also publishes a specific crypto purchasing guide, confirming that cryptocurrency support is a Stake.us feature rather than something inferred from Stake.com.
The exact supported cryptocurrency list and network should be checked in the current Wallet. Official network guidance specifically documents different network options for assets such as ETH and USDC and warns users not to send funds over unsupported networks.
Stake.us currently limits Gold Coin purchases to $9,000 per day.
I did not find a sufficiently stable first-party public source establishing one permanent minimum Gold Coin package amount. Older third-party reviews quoting $20 should therefore not be treated as controlling policy.
Purchases are also contractually treated as non-refundable. Chargebacks or payment reversals can lead to account restrictions and prevent Stake Cash redemption while the issue remains unresolved.
Stake.us Prize Redemptions
Official Stake.us Policy
Only eligible Stake Cash can be redeemed for prizes. Gold Coins cannot.
Current Terms support both:
- Fiat prize redemption
- Cryptocurrency prize redemption
Stake.us’s currency-lock mechanism matters. If the relevant Gold Coin purchase was made using fiat, Stake Cash redemption generally stays in the fiat mode. If cryptocurrency was used, redemption stays in cryptocurrency until the applicable Stake Cash balance has been cleared.
Stake Cash received through applicable promotional methods is generally subject to a 3× playthrough requirement before becoming redeemable. Stake Cash won through Promotional Play is treated differently from newly distributed promotional Stake Cash.
Identity verification may be required before or while a redemption is processed.
Stake.us permits generally one redemption request per account per 24 hours. Large prizes may be paid in smaller increments over several days.
Florida also has a specific limitation: current Terms cap prize redemption arising from any game/play at $5,000 per day for Florida participants.
What Is the Minimum Stake.us Redemption?
A universal current numeric minimum could not be independently established from the public controlling Stake.us Terms.
This is an important correction to competing reviews. Third-party sources currently disagree—some publish 5 SC, others 50 or 75 SC.
Stake.us’s Terms reserve the right to establish minimum redemption amounts and applicable charges. The amount displayed in the user’s current Wallet/redemption interface should therefore be treated as the operative threshold.
User-Reported Redemption Experiences
User feedback ranges from very fast cryptocurrency redemptions to requests taking longer because of verification, payment checks or other review.
The supplied positive Trustpilot screenshot describes redemptions as quick and straightforward. Reddit also contains successful crypto-redemption reports.
Other reviewers describe additional review, failed identity verification or delays.
Those experiences support a conclusion that redemption timing varies, not that Stake.us always pays instantly or always delays redemptions.
How Long Do Stake.us Redemptions Take?
Stake.us does not provide a universal guaranteed “instant withdrawal” timeframe in its current Terms.
Its stated policy is to process requests in the order received and as soon as practicable. Timing can be affected by:
- Identity verification.
- Payment-method verification.
- Account-compliance review.
- Incorrect redemption information.
- Currency/network conditions.
- Large prize values requiring multiple payments.
- Unresolved payment reversals or chargebacks.
Crypto transactions may move quickly after approval, but blockchain speed is not the same thing as Stake.us approval time.
Consequently, marketing Stake.us as providing guaranteed instant cashouts would overstate the evidence.s
Stake.us Verification Requirements
Stake.us is not a no-KYC casino.
Current registration rules require information including:
- Legal name.
- Date of birth.
- Permanent residential address.
- Email address.
- Identity documentation.
- Proof of address.
The current verification guide documents Verify as the verification provider and requires live capture of an accepted identity document plus a selfie rather than screenshots or photocopies.
Stake.us can perform additional identity, age, payment or compliance checks where required.
Its Privacy Policy also identifies sensitive information such as government identifiers, biometric/facial-recognition information, precise geolocation and Social Security information among data categories that may be processed. That does not mean every user will necessarily be asked for every category.
Users researching different verification models can read our guide to KYC and identity verification. Stake.us should not be listed as anonymous or verification-free.
Only one Stake.us account is permitted per person. Account sharing and the use of VPNs or proxies to conceal location can also create compliance problems.
Stake.us VIP Program
Stake.us currently operates a multi-level VIP Club extending from Bronze to Obsidian.
Current progression thresholds are:
| VIP Level | Stake Cash Play | Gold Coin Equivalent |
| Bronze | 10,000 SC | 20 billion GC |
| Silver | 50,000 SC | 100 billion GC |
| Gold | 100,000 SC | 200 billion GC |
| Platinum I | 250,000 SC | 500 billion GC |
| Platinum II | 500,000 SC | 1 trillion GC |
| Platinum III | 1 million SC | 2 trillion GC |
| Platinum IV | 2.5 million SC | 5 trillion GC |
| Platinum V | 5 million SC | 10 trillion GC |
| Platinum VI | 10 million SC | 20 trillion GC |
| Diamond I | 25 million SC | 50 trillion GC |
| Diamond II | 50 million SC | 100 trillion GC |
| Diamond III | 100 million SC | 200 trillion GC |
| Diamond IV | 250 million SC | 500 trillion GC |
| Diamond V | 500 million SC | 1 quadrillion GC |
| Obsidian | 1 billion SC | 2 quadrillion GC |
For VIP progression, Stake.us currently treats 2 million GC as equivalent to 1 SC of progress.
Depending on level and activity, documented benefits can include:
- Rank-up bonuses.
- Weekly boosts.
- Monthly bonuses.
- Rakeback.
- Reload offers at qualifying Platinum levels.
- VIP-host access at higher tiers.
Stake.us describes rakeback in relation to the game’s edge rather than simply paying a fixed percentage of every amount played.
The VIP Club overview should be checked before relying on any specific benefit because reward amounts can depend on tier and recent gameplay.
VIP rewards should not be viewed as guaranteed financial return.
Stake.us Bonuses and Daily Rewards
Stake.us’s Terms currently provide for daily promotional claims, and its platform regularly runs promotions such as:
- Daily rewards.
- Bonus drops.
- Races.
- Challenges.
- Raffles.
- VIP-related bonuses.
- Bonus drops may appear through official social channels and can be limited by availability, eligibility and playthrough conditions.
One important editorial correction is to avoid describing “1 SC + 10,000 GC every day for life” as an immutable platform feature. Third-party reviews use that wording, but promotional amounts can change.
The same caution applies to welcome packages and promo codes. A review page intended to remain accurate should either date an offer prominently or avoid making a temporary promotion a central platform fact.
Is Stake.us Available in Your State?
Checked: August 14, 2026
Stake.us’s current restricted-state guidance and Terms list 22 excluded states.
| Status | States/Territories |
| Restricted | Arizona, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia |
| Terms-defined potential market | Continental U.S. and Hawaii, subject to exclusions |
| Alaska | Current wording is insufficiently clear to classify confidently without direct confirmation |
This list has changed materially over time. Illinois, Indiana, Maine and California are among states affected by increasingly restrictive sweepstakes policy or platform changes.
It would therefore be inaccurate to write simply that “Stake.us is legal in the United States.
A platform’s decision to accept users does not itself constitute a nationwide legal ruling.
In February 2026, the Illinois Gaming Board listed a cease-and-desist letter directed at Stake.us. Illinois is now included in Stake.us’s own restricted-state list.
California presents another example of regulatory uncertainty. In September 2025, the Los Angeles City Attorney filed litigation against Stake.us-related defendants alleging that the sweepstakes model violated state gambling and consumer-protection laws. Those statements are allegations made in litigation, not a final judicial determination quoted here. California is now excluded by Stake.us.
Users should check the current Stake.us rules immediately before registration because state availability can change faster than third-party reviews are updated.
Stake.us Security, Privacy and Platform Transparency
Stake.us publicly identifies its contracting operator, company registration and address and provides detailed Terms, Privacy Policy and Responsible Play documentation.
That is useful transparency, but it is not sufficient to support a blanket claim such as “Stake.us is 100% safe.”
The Privacy Policy explains collection and use of:
- Registration data.
- Device/IP information.
- Verification documents.
- Transaction data.
- Communications.
- Geolocation.
- Certain government identifiers.
- Biometric/facial-recognition data in relevant verification processes.
- Stake.us also recommends multi-factor authentication and provides account-security controls.
Its Terms give the operator substantial authority to investigate, restrict or suspend accounts in situations involving identity mismatches, duplicate accounts, prohibited jurisdictions, VPN use, chargebacks, account sharing or other suspected breaches.
The Terms also contain arbitration provisions and a class-action waiver, including an opt-out procedure subject to the stated conditions.
Game fairness needs to be evaluated separately from platform security. Stake Originals use verifiable cryptographic result-generation methods, while third-party games rely on their respective providers and should not automatically be described as provably fair.
Stake.us Customer Support
Stake.us currently documents:
- 24/7 live chat.
- Help Center.
- Email support at support@stake.us.
- Higher-level VIP-host access for qualifying members.
The official customer-support guide says live chat is accessible after signing in.
No reliable universal average response time should be published. User reviews range from praise for quick help to complaints about unresolved verification, account or payment issues.
The Trustpilot profile’s statement that Stake US has not replied publicly to negative reviews should also be distinguished from private support availability: it describes Trustpilot response behavior, not the absence of support channels.
Stake.us Mobile Experience
Stake.us operates a mobile-responsive website and has an official iOS application.
The current iOS app is published by Sweepsteaks Limited and displayed a rating of approximately 4.7/5 from about 20,000 ratings when checked in August 2026.
Stake.us’s own current app guidance also documents mobile-browser access and separate iOS Stake US Casino and Stake US Poker apps.
A native Android casino application was not identified in the current official Stake.us app guidance reviewed. Android users can use the mobile website unless Stake.us introduces an official app later.
The App Store’s own age classification should not replace Stake.us’s contractual age requirement: the platform’s Terms require users to be at least 21.
We did not conduct controlled hands-on performance testing across multiple devices, so this review does not make claims such as “perfect mobile performance.”
Responsible Social Gaming at Stake.us
Self-exclusion is more restrictive than a temporary break. Current policy states that an excluded user cannot play or redeem prizes during the exclusion period.
Users considering self-exclusion while they have an unresolved balance should therefore read the current policy and contact support about their specific circumstances first.
Stake.us also requires users to be 21+ and supports account closure.
For broader harm-reduction information, see our responsible gambling guide.
Stake.us publishes a Responsible Play policy that includes several account-level controls.
Break-in-Play
Current temporary break options include:
- 24 hours.
- 48 hours.
- 7 days.
- 30 days.
- 2 months.
- 3 months.
During a Break-in-Play period, a user can still access certain account functions, including eligible redemption, but cannot continue gameplay or claim some rewards.
Self-Exclusion
Current self-exclusion periods include:
- 6 months.
- 1 year.
- Indefinite exclusion.
Stake.us Strengths
- Clear distinction between Gold Coins and Stake Cash: current Terms define both currencies and their different functions.
- No-purchase participation exists: daily/promotional routes and a postal AMOE are documented.
- Crypto support is genuinely available on Stake.us: it is not merely inherited from the Stake.com brand.
- Fiat options also exist: the platform is not limited to cryptocurrency.
- Large current game catalog: Stake.us advertises 3,000+ games.
- Stake Originals: first-party games provide a distinctive feature set.
- Provably fair verification: qualifying Stake Originals can be independently checked using seeds and nonces.
- Poker and live gaming: current platform coverage extends beyond basic slots.
- Detailed VIP structure: progression requirements and major benefit categories are publicly documented.
- Large public review footprint: more than 17,800 Trustpilot reviews provide a substantial reputation sample.
- 24/7 support: live-chat access is documented.
- Responsible-play options: temporary breaks and longer self-exclusion periods are available.
Stake.us Weaknesses and Considerations
- State availability continues to shrink and change.
- The platform should not be assumed legal everywhere it remains accessible.
- Gold Coins and Stake Cash can be confusing for users expecting a normal cash wallet.
- Stake Cash cannot simply be purchased directly.
- A 3× playthrough requirement applies to qualifying promotional Stake Cash.
- Verification is substantive: ID, address and potentially additional compliance information may be required.
- VPN/proxy use can cause account problems.
- Duplicate accounts and account sharing are prohibited.
- Gold Coin purchases are treated as non-refundable under the Terms.
- Chargebacks can block redemption until resolved.
- No universal numeric redemption minimum is clearly published in current public Terms.
- No guaranteed redemption timeframe exists.
- Currency lock can limit whether an SC balance is redeemed through fiat or cryptocurrency.
- Current official guidance does not identify a native Android casino app.
- An active Stake.us sportsbook could not be independently confirmed during this review.
- VIP rewards can be complex and activity-dependent.
- User complaints about KYC, payments and account restrictions remain part of the platform’s reputation even though individual circumstances cannot normally be verified.
Who Stake.us May Suit
Stake.us may be relevant to adults in eligible jurisdictions who understand the social/sweepstakes model, are comfortable distinguishing Gold Coins from Stake Cash and are prepared to complete identity verification.
It may also interest users specifically looking for:
- Stake Originals.
- Provably fair first-party games.
- Crypto-enabled social/sweepstakes transactions.
- Live casino-style content.
- A structured VIP program.
A no-purchase route to promotional Stake Cash.
This describes potential fit rather than encouraging participation or spending.
Who May Prefer an Alternative
Stake.us may be unsuitable for people who:
- Live in an excluded jurisdiction.
- Specifically want a state-regulated conventional real-money online casino.
- Expect Stake.com functionality or licensing.
- Want to avoid identity verification.
- Prefer a simple single-currency account.
- Do not want promotional playthrough requirements.
- Need a guaranteed redemption timetable.
- Intend to use a VPN to bypass geographic restrictions.
- Want an independently confirmed Stake.us sportsbook.
- Require a native Android casino app.
Users seeking conventional cryptocurrency gambling should also understand that Stake.us’s crypto support operates inside its Gold Coin/Stake Cash sweepstakes structure, rather than making Stake.us identical to Stake.com’s crypto casino.
Final Verdict on Stake.us
Stake.us is an established U.S.-focused social and sweepstakes gaming platform, not simply the American version of Stake.com’s licensed real-money casino.
Its operating model is reasonably well documented. Gold Coins are non-redeemable social-play currency; Stake Cash is promotional sweepstakes currency; no-purchase participation exists; crypto and fiat transactions are currently supported; and qualifying Stake Cash can be redeemed for prizes after applicable playthrough and verification.
The product also has several substantive features: a current 3,000+ game claim, Stake Originals, provably fair verification for supported first-party games, Poker, live gaming, a large VIP system, iOS access and 24/7 support.
Its public reputation is broadly positive—4.4/5 from 17,829 Trustpilot reviews when checked—but that does not eliminate recurring complaints involving verification, payment processing, account restrictions, bonus value and redemption timing.
The most important limitations in 2026 are regulatory and operational rather than cosmetic. Twenty-two states are currently excluded, the restriction list has expanded, Illinois regulators issued a cease-and-desist letter to Stake.us, and litigation in California demonstrates that the legal status of sweepstakes gaming can be contested even when a platform describes its structure as promotional.
Users also need to understand that Stake.com’s Curaçao license does not convert Stake.us into a Curaçao-licensed U.S. casino.
Overall, the evidence supports describing Stake.us as a well-established, feature-rich social/sweepstakes platform with genuine crypto functionality and extensive first-party documentation—but also one with meaningful state restrictions, KYC obligations, a 3× promotional Stake Cash playthrough requirement and user-reported experiences that vary considerably around redemptions and account reviews.
Claims such as “100% safe,” “legal everywhere,” “instant cashouts,” “guaranteed payouts” or “the same as Stake.com” are not supported by the current evidence.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Stake.us?
Stake.us is a social and sweepstakes gaming platform operated by Sweepsteaks Limited. It uses Gold Coins for Standard Play and Stake Cash for promotional sweepstakes play. Current Terms explicitly state that Stake.us does not offer conventional real-money gambling.
Is Stake.us the same as Stake.com?
No. They share Stake branding, but Stake.us operates under Sweepsteaks Limited and its own social/sweepstakes Terms. Stake.com identifies Medium Rare N.V. as its operator and operates under a separate Curaçao gambling license and conventional gambling model. Stake.com's license or policies should not be applied automatically to Stake.us.
Which states currently restrict Stake.us?
As of August 14, 2026, Stake.us lists Arizona, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Vermont, Washington and West Virginia as excluded states. State restrictions can change.
What is the difference between Gold Coins and Stake Cash?

What is the minimum Stake.us redemption and how long does it take?
Stake.us's current public Terms do not state one universal numeric redemption minimum or guaranteed processing time. They allow Stake.us to set minimums, generally limit users to one request every 24 hours and say requests are processed in order as soon as practicable. Verification or large-prize processing can add time.
Does Stake.us require identity verification?
Yes. Current Terms require identity and address information, while Stake.us's verification help documentation uses Veriff and requires live identity-document and selfie capture. Additional verification can occur for account, payment or redemption reviews.
Does Stake.us accept Bitcoin or cryptocurrency?
Yes, Stake.us currently supports cryptocurrency specifically within its own social/sweepstakes model. Supported crypto can be used for qualifying Gold Coin purchases and eligible Stake Cash prize redemption. Exact assets and networks should be checked in the current Wallet because availability can change.
